Privacy notice (POPIA)
This notice explains how STRKR ("we", "the studio") processes personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA). The responsible party is STRKR, Pretoria, Gauteng - contactable at contact@strkr.co.za.
What we collect, and why
- Intake and contact forms: your name, business name, WhatsApp number, email, website details and project description - used only to respond to your enquiry, prepare your fixed quote and deliver your project.
- Project delivery: content you hand over (text, images, credentials for your domain or Google profile) - used only to build and launch your website.
- Analytics: anonymised usage data via Google Analytics 4 (pages viewed, buttons clicked). No advertising identifiers are collected by this site.
What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent or share your details with third parties for marketing.
- We don't send marketing messages without consent - you hear from us about your enquiry or your project, nothing else.
- We don't store form submissions on this website - they are relayed to our business email and processed there.
Retention and your rights
Enquiry details are kept while the conversation is live and for up to 24 months afterwards for record purposes; project files are kept for the duration of the engagement and any active Care Plan. Under POPIA you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time - email contact@strkr.co.za and it will be actioned within a reasonable time. Complaints may be lodged with the Information Regulator (inforeg.org.za).
Terms of service
Scope and pricing
Every STRKR website is sold as a fixed-price, fixed-scope website type as published on this site. The published price includes only the listed scope; additional work is quoted from the published add-ons list. Prices don't change mid-project.
Payment terms
50% deposit to book the build slot, 50% before go-live. Care Plan billed monthly in advance. No work starts without deposit - no exceptions.
The design-stage guarantee
You approve the homepage design before the second payment. If you are not happy at the design stage, you may withdraw and your deposit is refunded in full. After design approval, the guarantee lapses and the remaining revision round applies.
Content and delays
Timelines start when your content is handed over. If content is outstanding for more than 7 days the project pauses, the build slot is released, and a R750 restart fee applies to rebook - this is stated before any deposit is taken.
Ownership
On final payment you own your domain, your content and your website. STRKR retains the right to reference the work in its portfolio unless agreed otherwise.
Cookies
This site uses Google Analytics 4 cookies to understand which pages help visitors and which don't. No cookies are used for advertising. Your browser can block or clear cookies without affecting the site.
